Kiki and her new beau. :)

Do I have these sunglasses on right?

Who am I? and what have you done with me?

So for some reason that cannot be explained (pms) I have been an emotional, hypersensitive, raging bitch of a woman. Everything sets me off. Shoot, the guy this morning driving down the road set me off. I thought that Karma was going to rear her beautiful little face a little while later but alas... it didn't. (read... guy wouldn't let me in and then he got stuck behind a landscaping truck... mooooahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha).

And you can know that you are behaving a certain way and just be at a loss about what to do about it. I even upped my "happy pills" to two a couple of nights to no avail. And this is not to say that I was not justified in some of my irritation... I AM married afterall. ;) But... I also realize that I am human and I am also susceptible to the evils of my hormones and maybe, just maybe... not all of it was deserved.

So, you might ask me... have you confessed any of this to your husband? Told him that you were sorry, maybe?

shoot no! Why would I want to do a silly thing like that... and admit defeat? HA! Although I am quite sure that it's coming. In fact, probably this afternoon I will in fact, swallow my fairly substantial pride and tell him... I'm sorry that I was possessed this past week... it wasn't me... no really, it wasn't... but I am sorry that I have behaved rather irrationally and somewhat bitchily.
and if I am NOT married to you and snapped, bit, chewed, moaned or otherwise behaved badly? Well get over it! HA! just kidding. :) Hopefully I can get back to myself... I have not felt myself all week and don't like it.

I am generally a happy person... optimistic and glass half full kind of gal. This week, I could have drowned in my glass half full. It's a very surreal feeling to not understand exactly why you feel a certain way... and somewhat uncomfortable. But I suppose maybe this is my way of growing, huh?

Anyway, I'm rambling. :) Thank you for baring with me. And if you didn't notice anything at all? Well, carry on with your regularly scheduled programming, will you?

This weekend I stayed home. It was wonderful. Jason was gone which was not so wonderful, but he had a good time, so that's good. :)

But, Saturday afternoon I met the Pecks at Trinity Park Trails, by the zoo, for a bike ride. I had told Joe that when he awoke from his nap we would go for a bike ride. He was so excited.

So, when we arrived, Jeff was putting my trailer and bike together for me. It had been residing at their house since our last camping expedition. We had a nice ride over to the park and then let the kids play for awhile. They had a great time and "Cmon joey, come play with me... or c'mere Cole! Lets do THIS" could be heard around the playground. :)

We got ready to leave when Shelby had a minor accident and Cole and Joe wanted to ride together in my trailer. OYE. :) Nothing like 50 pounds behind my bike to get my heart rate going. :) But, it was SOOO worth it! I wish I had a recording device in that trailer to hear their conversation. They talked and talked and talked, about walmart and "ups", about water and ducks, about waterfalls, about coming to Joe Joes house. It was super cute.

But... that night Meg (otherwise known as Egg by Joe) was asking Joe if he wanted a baby brother or sister. He kind of said yeah... and moved on to play.
Well yesterday, I said to him...

Joe Joe, do you want a baby?

Joe: Yep.

me: you do? Well, what would you like? A brother or a sister?

Joe: Hmmmmmmm... I want a baby COOPER!

me: soi you want a baby brother?

Joe: no, I want a baby COOPER!

it really was super cute. Such a little angel.

My entertainer

So the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind... and I haven't had the time to even sit down much less blog. I have taken some pictures and I do have stories but no time to get them out. :)

So, here are some quick video's... Joe has turned into quite the entertainer. He has a drum set and several guitars and he tells both his daddy and I to "dance!" with him. Or to sit down so that he can put on his concert.

His daddy also taught him how to say "see ya sucka!" and I might have taught him to say "daddy's a punk". we may not think it's all that cute later... but for now, we get quite the kick out of it.

We are really happy and quite surprised that he seems to have a sense of rhythm. who knew! Maybe he did get something from me! HA!

I will have to share some of the pictures from new years... maybe I can do that later... but for now... enjoy some music. :)
